Our story
Warm enough to feel personal. Structured enough to earn trust.
Nopawlitos is a small, bilingual dog-care business starting in Berwyn and Cicero. We want dog care to feel like help from a neighbor you trust, backed by the safety standards and paperwork you would expect from a serious company.
Where the name comes from
Nopalitos, plus paws.
Nopalitos are tender prickly pear cactus pads, a staple of Mexican kitchens. Add paws and you get Nopawlitos.
Our logo shows Didi and Susi, two hand-drawn dogs framed by cactus, flowers, and paw prints. They are a reminder that this business starts and ends with the dogs.
Meet the founders
The people behind the leash.
You will meet us in person at your meet-and-greet, before any visit is scheduled.

Care has to feel human
Pets, families, and caregivers should be treated as people with context, not rows in a marketplace.
Safety outranks volume
No booking target overrules handling limits, weather decisions, incident reporting, or stop authority.
Proof beats promises
Every visit should leave a record: arrival, completion, notes, and anything that changed.
Growth must carry its weight
New routes open when demand funds good wages, travel, backup, insurance, and reliable service.
Where we are today
Prelaunch, on purpose.
Right now
We are building the founding route list for Berwyn and Cicero. Joining is free and is not a booking.
Before the first paid visit
Business registration, local licensing, pet-care insurance, background checks, and a written service agreement.
What we will not fake
Reviews, years in business, certifications, insurance, team size, availability, response time, or city coverage. Each claim goes on this site only after it is true.
Help shape the first route
Founding families make this local.
Your request tells us which blocks, schedules, and care needs deserve the first operating capacity.
